GENERAL INFORMATION AND TOURNAMENT RULES
Please read all information and rules to be part of the tournament

Place:  Serena Marina and Golf Residences, Mazatlan, Mexico.
Date:  July 9th, 2011.
Modality:  One team per boat.
Cost:  $350 usd per team (valid before july 2nd, after this date will be $400 usd).


TOURNAMENT RULES:
1. Fishing licenses are responsibility of the participants.

2. This tournament is open to all teams that register properly and undertake to comply with the rules of the tournament, subject to the provisions of the Law on Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture, rules and regulations, as well as the requirements of the Ministry of Communications and Transport.

3. Any registered angler agrees to follow the rules of this tournament and be subject to the provisions of the Head Judge and the Committee of Honor and Justice, its rulings are unappealable.

4. Only one team per boat is allowed, the maximum number of anglers per team is 4 anglers plus 2 crew (in type cruise ships), and 3 anglers plus 1 crew (for super panga).

5. Dorado is the only species involved.

6. Only 2 Dorados per team will be accepted on the scale. The minimum weight to qualify for the tournament is 10 kilos (22 pounds).

7. Will be declared champion, the team that presents the heavier Dorado, in case of a draw, the time of weighing will be considered.

8. Fish can be caught with bait or lures and will be leaning against the boat without more help than the reel and rod.

9. All fish presented on the scale will be property of the Organizing Committee, and will be donated to charity.

10. All fish submitted will be opened and reviewed, if found any irregularities the team will be disqualified.

11. Each boat is obliged to accept an observer, which will be randomly assigned by the Organizing Committee.

12. Fishing is starting at 6:00 am, the weighing will begin at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm. It is the duty of each vessel to pick up an observer appointed by the Organizing Committee at 5:00 am. at the Serena Residences Marina.

13. It is not allowed that any participating vessel matches another.

14. In case of failure of a boat, you must request permission by radio to transfer the catch and a team member to another boat that participates in the tournament.

15. The radio channel of the tournament is 23.

16. Any protest regarding the tournament must be submitted to the judge in writing and accompanied by $350 usd and evidence by a participating team member before 4:30 pm. Decisions can not be protested to no instance and under any circumstances.

17. The Organizing Committee reserves the right of admission.

18. Will be cause for disqualification, physical assault and / or verbally to the judge or staff, and generally present unsportsmanlike actions.

19. The Organizing Committee has the authority to extend, shorten or suspend the tournament for the weather conditions or other cause of force majeure.
